Directions:
You start at the "Grüner Baum" in the Kötschachtal in Bad Gastein. There are enough parking spaces available. At the beginning you walk comfortably through the car-free valley along the stream on a forest road. After half an hour you go right across the stream. From here it is then quite steep about 2h to Reedsee. At the top you will be rewarded for your efforts. The Reedsee is very idyllic, surrounded by mountain peaks that are reflected in the lake. There is no hut on the mountain, but a picnic by the lake is an unforgettable nature experience. Take your time and enjoy the peace and quiet at the lake. The way back is the same way. Almost at the end of the hike there is also a nice place to stop.
